The Ancient Colonisation project is an initiative by the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. In the past certain events of the ancient colonisation network established by this project have been supported by the CRASIS research institute, The Netherlands Institute at Athens, OIKOS' Anchoring Innovation programme, and the Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome.
